At long last, the wholesale catalog I’ve been working on is ready! It’s only available online for now, and offers an assortment of albums, journals, and cards. I’m really proud of the selection I’ve put together - enjoy!
I definitely wanted to emphasize the handmade nature of my work and the care that’s put in to the choices regarding materials and design. Sara’s encouraged me that it’s very “us” and I think that’s the best endorsement we could ask for! If there’s somewhere in your area that you think would be a good fit for all of this work we’re up to, feel free to let me know or pass the link along.
Finishing lots of new journals this week…and they’re up on Etsy!
In the meantime, you might also like to check out a few fun things I’ve forgotten to mention over the last few weeks.
- First, there is a great profile of Walton Ford (one of my favorite artists!) that ran in the January 26 issue of The New Yorker that is engaging and also shared the fact that the Taschen book of Ford’s work will finally be published in an affordable version (ie. not $7,000) later this year!
- Second, an amazing set of wedding invitations printed by Studio on Fire in the Twin Cities - one of my favorite letterpress shops - they’ve got me inspired to expand the reach of my stitching!
- And last, but not least, we watched Man on Wire a couple of weeks ago and I can’t recommend it enough - it’s utterly French, inspiring and beautiful.
Oh man, the catalog is great! Because of this blog, I had an understanding of all the different kind of jobs you put together, but seeing them all in one spot makes me appreciate it all much more. I especially love the pamphlet stitch albums.
and thanks for the link to the wedding invites by Studio On Fire — very nice invites indeed!
awesome news on the Ford book. that exhibit was amazing.
Thanks, Alex! It was an exercise to get the whole thing together, but I’m really pleased with it! And aren’t those Studio on Fire invites g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s? They’re challenging me to do some fun new things with materials!
Scott, I had the same feeling - and it’s about time! The fact that there’s no other available, affordable text on him is ridiculous (one, out of print, not-so-amazing catalog does not count) and the Taschen book has looked incredible since the first day I heard about it…but bookbinders & letterpress printers do not have $7,000 for art books, unfortunately!
