Sunday morning

Linen thread, awl, needles…a busy couple of days It’s still a sewing marathon around here, but the sun was shining yesterday and it’s already gorgeous today, so the windows are wide open and I’m finding the energy to plow through the current mountain and - despite a number of finger pricks - am enjoying it.

I think 9 books may be my limit for binding in a day, at least when it comes to monstrous, diamond stitch albums…at least they’re looking good! I cruised through 9 yesterday, 9 today, and need to do that many again tomorrow and Sunday. I’d cross my fingers if they didn’t already hurt so much.

Process

As you’ve probably gathered, there’s a lot that goes on around here before a book or card actually exists in its finished state, and I realized that I don’t write much about process and the actual assembly of much of my work, or include many photos of those steps. I tend to just put up
