2010 letterpress calendars!

Psst… this is old news!

New calendars and letterpress cards for the 2010-11 holidays are here!

Ahem…they’re here!

I’ve just finished up printing and assembling the first batch of the new 2010 letterpress calendars! While they’re not up on the website or Etsy yet, they will be in the next few weeks - I have to admit, we’re pretty baby-focused around here right now - only one week till the due date!

All 10 cover options, packaged up! Covers are (from left to right): black & white mums, blue marbled, yellow burst, blue & green branches, fall leaves, green marbled, mums on apricot, blue mums, green maple & green stripes.

The 2010 calendar is a hanging, handbound, accordion-fold book with a letterpress-printed interior, and cover choices include 10 different decorative papers in a range of patterns, including gorgeous marbles and chiyogami (Japanese silkscreened) patterns.

If you’d like to make sure to get just the one you want, you are more than welcome to pre-order a calendar (or two or five…!), by shooting me an email. 2010 calendars are $29.50 each + a flat $5 shipping for any quantity - just let me know how many and what cover design(s) you’d like!

All of the cover options (left to right): top row: black & white mums, blue marbled, yellow burst, blue & green branches, fall leaves / bottom row: green maple, blue mums, green marbled, mums on apricot, and green stripes

The interior page is a heavy, cream-colored printmaking paper, and the names of each month are letterpress printed in a light grey, loose script, with the days layered over them in a dark grey.

The front cover is punched with a 1/4″ hole so that you can easily hang the calendar anywhere you have a little extra narrow wall space, and the decorative covers are shown off when you flip the calendar over to the second half of the year. Each open calendar measures 5 1/4″ wide x 24 1/2″ high (the folded, closed calendar measures 5 1/4″ wide x 3 1/4″ high).

I had a little too much fun putting these together and I hope you enjoy them! I do have a small stash already assembled, ready to ship in the next few days, and will be making more as time permits, between having and taking care of the newest member of the family who could very well be arriving any day now!

Speaking of that new arrival, there are also lots of great albums on sale in my Etsy shop right now, as we get some things cleared out in anticipation of everything coming our way - enjoy!

And…if you’d like to keep up with our every waking move, and know immediately when new pieces are ready, we’d love to have you sign up for our email list, follow us on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook, and enjoy the photos we add regularly to Flickr! (We are soooo connected!)
