Small rectangular journal
with advertisements from 1920s dental journals
The front cover of this handbound 5"w x 7"h blank book features a notice of the "Proceedings of Societies" in a 1920s orthodontic journal called The Dental Cosmos. The back cover is an image panel from the same issue of the journal about the Annual Roll Call for the American Red Cross. The text on the Red Cross panel reads:
"Annual Roll Call at the Service of All Mankind"
The pages are made from a Fabriano Tiziano pastel weight, 100% acid free paper and the book is bound with waxed black linen thread in a coptic stitch (knotted, open-spine) that allows the book to lie flat when open. The paper has a great weight for lots of writing and the spine stitching will hold up to plenty of use.
This journal is designed to last. 100% acid-free, archival materials.
